Our priority legislation to reduce plastic pollution and bring clean cars to Virginia is moving quickly through the General Assembly. No matter the outcome, we know our work doesn’t stop here. 

Even though we’ve lost between 80 and 99 percent of the monarchs in our skies, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) recently refused to give them endangered species protections. It’s past time to protect the dwindling species.

Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument has been protected for 21 of the last 25 years, it’s time to restore full protection.

Our General Assembly is moving forward on the statewide ban on polystyrene foam, HB 1902, and the ban on the intentional release of balloons, HB 2159. As the bills move forward, we’re going to continue our grassroots effort to support the bill during Week 4 of the General Assembly Action Series!
