Environment Virginia Endorses Ralph Northam for Governor

Environment Virginia announced today their endorsement of Ralph Northam for Governor of Virginia.

Ralph Northam’s active and expressed support of Environment Virginia’s work–fighting for open space, clean air, clean water and clean energy–led to today’s endorsement.

Environment Virginia’s members and supporters believe that defending our environment requires independent research, tough-minded advocacy, and spirited grassroots action. Ralph Northam’s campaign exemplifies these very ideals, and we are so proud to endorse his candidacy.

We know that Ralph Northam will continue to stand up to the polluter lobby and protect our air, water and open spaces for generations to come. From the Shenandoah Valley to the Chesapeake Bay, he will be there defending the health and well-being of our environment and our families. We especially commend him for his promise to ensure that Virginia meets the standards put forth in the EPA’s Clean Power Plan, no matter the gridlock in D.C.

That is why Environment Virginia is encouraging Virginians to Vote Ralph Northam on Tuesday, November 7th.
